Andrew Granger & Co celebrate 30 years of success in style!

This month, the directors of Andrew Granger & Co welcomed staff and clients to an evening reception in the stunning rural setting of The Orangery at Kilworth House Hotel in North Kilworth, Leicestershire. This event was held both to celebrate this milestone birthday and to thank staff and long-standing clients for the important part they have all played in the company’s three decades of success.
Around 125 staff, directors and clients enjoyed drinks and canapés in the conservatory and in the early evening sunshine on the terrace.
Reflecting on success
On the evening, Rupert Harrison, who worked at Andrew Granger & Co when it was first set up and is now Joint Managing Director gave a speech in which he reflected on the changes in the business over the years, paid tribute to the hard work of the staff and thanked clients for their support. Company founder Andrew Granger was presented with 30 bottles of wine (one for every year in business) by Lettings Director Jill Griffiths who has been with the company for over 20 years herself.
“Thirty years in business spanning several periods of economic uncertainty is a fantastic achievement and one that deserves to be celebrated in style,” commented Rupert Harrison. “For us there was no better way to do this than to enjoy summer drinks in the lovely Leicestershire countryside with our staff and clients who have all in their own significant ways contributed to that success over the years.”
30 years of local success
When it was started in 1989 Andrew Granger & Co employed just five people at its original premises in Market Harborough. Nowadays the agency is one of the most well-respected independent agencies in the East Midlands with over 40 staff at its Leicester, Loughborough and Market Harborough offices.
“Special anniversaries like this are a time to reflect on the past and celebrate all that we have achieved. However they are also a time to think about plans for the future,” adds Rupert. “We are very much looking forward to the next chapter at Andrew Granger & Co as we embrace the ever evolving property market.”
