How our property sales approach could make the difference in you selling your home

We, at Andrew Granger & Co were invited to value a modern four-bedroom property in Market Harborough, in May last year (2021), that had been on the market since the beginning of March. At that point the property had been on the market with an online estate agent for two months, and we were asked by the client to value the property, to give our opinion on the price, and on how we could market the property differently.

The meeting went well, and we were asked by the client to market the property which we launched to the market on 19th May.

At the time the property was in direct competition with several new developments in the area, so we had to consider this when planning the marketing of it. We left the price at the same level, organised a set of professional photographs, carefully wrote the property details, gave the property prime position online and within the window of our high street office, and contacted those on our data base that were looking for a property of this description.

22 days later, on the 21st of June our client accepted an offer on the property which then completed on 24th September.

We pride ourselves on knowing the local market, what’s currently on the market, and how a new property to the market will pitch against these properties. We also know how important our database is and nurturing those that have the foresight in contacting us when they’re on the look out for a new home.
