We wanted to take the time to reassure you of our plans for the weeks ahead following the Government’s recent announcement that a second lockdown will take place from Thursday 5th November.
As we understand it, the residential sales and lettings market will remain very much open for business. So, whether you have a property for sale or rent with us, or indeed if a sale or let is already in hand, everything can and should continue to run normally. We have a close relationship with local solicitors, mortgage brokers, surveyors, and removal companies, and we have been assured that it is business as usual for them too.
We will continue to perform valuations and viewings in accordance with strict Government guidelines. Our comprehensive marketing plans remain in full flow, including excellent online coverage, photographic streaming of our properties to allow you to ‘virtually view’ in the first instance. If home buyers and renters wish to undertake physical viewings, we can also facilitate this.
It is vital that we keep you, your families and of course our teams safe, so everything we do will be with safety as the primary consideration.
Our investment in IT and communication systems have put us in a strong position in these challenging times. We renewed our own website at the end of last year, we have a new telephone system which can be used fully from any location and all staff are completely mobile using cloud based systems and laptops meaning they are able to work from a safe location.
Our offices in Market Harborough, Leicester and Loughborough are staffed with essential staff to cover tasks that cannot be dealt with remotely, and we can accept visitors by appointment. Equally we can meet with any clients virtually via Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Facetime to name just a few.
