Buyers and sellers prefer a personable estate agent

At Andrew Granger we are well aware that customer service is everything. New research by a property software firm has shown that this is especially true for estate agents with 82 per cent of consumers preferring to work with a personable estate agent who can manage the whole process.

The research found that customers are more likely to depend on their agent’s expertise during key moments of the transaction such as conveyancing, negotiations and inspections. Over half of those surveyed also said that they were keen to create ‘life-long relationships’ with agents who ‘understand their property needs’.

Despite the calls for personable customer service, a growing number of people are reaching out to the internet to help in their search with 93 per cent saying that they search for property online.
